Prep

Prep by Curtis Sittenfeld was a book about a small-town Indiana girl going to a big-time boarding school on the East  Coast. It was very interesting seeing what Lee, the main character, thought of boarding school. Boarding school sounds fun when you think of shows like "Zoey 101", but in this book you get to experience a real boarding school experience. What made it so different was that it was just so real. You could relate, there wasn't much about it that wasn't unrealistic. If you read it, you'll feel like this has actually happened, it doesn't seem like just a story.
Summary: Lee is a girl from Indiana, who is not very wealthy. When she gets a scholarship to Ault Boarding School, she jumps at the opportunity. Of course, she doesn't fit in, but she gets to experience the lives of preppy, wealthy, East Coast kids.
